The Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Assistant Psychologist to join their Urgent Care and Assessment Service (UCAT). In this role, the successful candidate will provide support to a qualified Clinical Psychologist, contributing to psychological assessments and interventions for UCAT clients. Responsibilities include assisting with risk assessments, delivering short-term psychological interventions under supervision, and enhancing the psychological understanding within the multi-disciplinary team. Regular clinical supervision and opportunities for professional development are offered, particularly in various psychological presentations and services.

Applicants should hold a recognized undergraduate degree in Psychology and possess the Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society. While experience in adult mental health services and delivering individual psychological interventions is advantageous, the role emphasises recruiting values-driven and compassionate professionals committed to delivering high-quality care.
