Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking passionate Community Staff Nurses to join their District Nursing Service in rural Northumberland, specifically in the areas of Wooler and Belford. This role involves providing patient-centered care in various settings, including patients' homes, residential facilities, and clinics. The successful candidates will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, reporting to the community nursing team lead. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for diverse patients, delivering health and social care programs, and providing emotional and bereavement support, particularly for patients with terminal illnesses.

The position also entails performing skilled nursing tasks such as wound management, palliative care, and conducting diagnostic tests. Community Staff Nurses are expected to maintain high professional standards, communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care options, and uphold a strong commitment to duty of care and professional accountability.
