ARTERIAL BLOOD GAS BRONCHODILATOR NHS PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST
The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Highly Specialised Respiratory Physiologist for their new Community Diagnostic Centre in Scarborough. The ideal candidate should possess a BSc Hons in Clinical Physiology or an equivalent qualification, ARTP accreditation, and experience in performing various pulmonary function investigations, with a preference for candidates experienced in Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET). The role involves conducting both basic and advanced pulmonary function tests independently, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and sleep studies, as well as participating in service management activities like quality assurance and workforce planning.
