Scott Park Surgery in Southend on Sea is seeking a part-time Receptionist/Audio Typist to join their team for 20 hours weekly. The role involves various responsibilities such as typing referral letters, answering phone calls, assisting patients and visitors with queries, managing appointment bookings, filing patient records, and data inputting, along with issuing repeat prescriptions and performing general administrative duties. Flexibility to cover additional hours during staff holidays is required.

Scott Park Surgery in Southend, has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist/audio typist to join our team on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.
The hours are as follows:
- Monday 14.45-18.45
- Tuesday 12.30-4.30
- Wednesday 09.00-13.00
- Thursday 07.45-11.45
- Friday 12.30-16.30
You will need to be flexible on occasions to working extra hours to cover staff holidays.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience and offers excellent communication skills.
- Typing referral letters and medical reports.
- Answering telephone and assisting as necessary.
- Responding to queries and requests for assistance from patients/visitors.
- Making appointments and managing the booking system.
- Filing of patient records and other confidential documents.
- Data inputting.
- Issuing repeat prescriptions.
- General reception/admin duties as required.
