The Immunisation Nurse at Intrahealth Ltd in Derbyshire will be responsible for delivering nasal and intramuscular flu and vaccine programs in community and educational settings, adhering to guidelines set by the Department of Health. This role involves collaborating with an administration team and school staff to ensure quality immunisation services while managing risks such as patient consent and side effects. The nurse must stay updated with current practices, report issues to the Locality Lead Nurse, and ensure safe handling of vaccines, all while maintaining effective communication with team members, parents, and school staff.

The position also requires the Immunisation Nurse to uphold professional standards, practice infection-control measures, and manage patient records in compliance with GDPR and the Freedom of Information Act. The nurse will act as the lead clinician during immunisation sessions, participate in shared learning across teams, and fulfill mandatory training requirements, while also promoting equality, diversity, and health and safety within the workplace.
