The Service Desk Analyst role at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Seaton Delaval involves providing first-line technical IT support for corporate users, operating within a 24/7 service team across three shift patterns (Day, Twilight, and Night). The successful candidate will be responsible for remote software installation, investigation and triage of technical issues, user account management, and security management. The position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as the analyst serves as the first point of contact for IT issues, collaborating with second and third line teams and external suppliers when necessary.

Key responsibilities include classifying, diagnosing, and resolving basic service desk support calls, managing asset databases, and ensuring compliance with the Trust's IM & T Security Policy. Additionally, the analyst will order and configure new IT equipment, participate in an on-call rota, and contribute to ongoing training and team meetings. The salary ranges from £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, with an additional annual payment of £2,000, which is subject to yearly review.
