The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking dedicated Community Midwives to join their community midwifery team in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidates will work within a well-structured environment, managing their own caseloads across five community hubs utilizing local resources such as children’s centers and hospitals. Midwives will provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care while also participating in mentorship for students and maternity support workers. The role requires excellent communication skills, versatility, and the ability to work autonomously while adhering to NMC guidelines.

Candidates must hold a current midwifery PIN and be prepared to work flexible hours, including on-call duties to support homebirths. Additionally, midwives will have the opportunity to maintain their intrapartum skills at the Midwife Birth Centre and will participate in the Continuity of Carer model, fostering strong professional relationships within the team. A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.
