Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Specialist Practitioner in Eating Disorders to join their dynamic multi-disciplinary team in Carmarthen. The role involves providing high-quality care and interventions to adults with eating disorders, collaborating with colleagues across primary and secondary mental health services. Candidates should have a background in a relevant core profession, with prior experience in eating disorder interventions being a plus. The successful applicant will manage a complex caseload, undertake clinical assessments, develop treatment plans in accordance with NICE guidelines, and provide training to other healthcare professionals. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to the ongoing development of the Specialist Eating Disorder Service.

The role also includes responsibilities such as care coordination under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure and conducting joint assessments with other healthcare providers. While proficiency in Welsh is desirable, applicants who do not meet this requirement will receive support to develop their language skills during employment.
