Royal Manor has an opening for a dual role within the surgery. We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to work across our reception area as a Care Navigator and within our administration team.
This vacancy is ideal for someone who is experienced in working with SystmOne but if not then experience with other clinical systems would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who is organised, efficient and keen to explore new ways of working to streamline processes with the ever evolving technologies open to the practice.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Navigator you will work on front desk, greeting patients and dealing with any enquiries they may have. You will also be required to answer the phones and deal with enquires, both roles can be very busy, so you will need to be able to work at a fast pace with accuracy and under pressure.
As an administrator you will be required to rotate on admin duty, this will include processing work flow documents, appointments, emails, tasks, referrals and other duties that may be required. There are daily, weekly and monthly jobs that are required of the admin team and you will be expected to carry out these tasks in a timely manner. You will have links with our PCN and other outside agencies as and when required.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative and care navigator duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
Duties will also include supporting the administration and reception teams with day to day functions within the practice requiring flexibility and organisation.
To support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
