A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an engaging and motivated Highly Specialised Applied Psychologist to join our secondary care adult mental health service (Hub and Treatment & Intervention Team) in Hartlepool, County Durham.
We are seeking a creative and flexible individual to help improve access to psychological therapies and deliver interventions locally. We are looking for someone who demonstrates openness and warmth, with the ability to contribute to our culture of respect and compassion. The successful candidate will be committed to working alongside those with significant experiences of adversity, to ensure this population receives the highest standards of care.
We would particularly welcome applicants with expertise working with service users with a diagnosis of psychosis or bi-polar. Alternatively, we would welcome applicants who are willing to undertake training in either CBT-Psychosis or Family Interventions, if the opportunity arises.

You will be expected to have the necessary skills and experience to undertake direct clinical work, offer clinical supervision and consultation, contribute to service evaluation, as well as manage the demands of service development and change. Candidates should be skilled psychological professionals with excellent interdisciplinary working skills and interested in contributing to the development of an innovative and dynamic service.You will work closely with our voluntary and community sector, in line with the exciting community transformation agenda.
