The Mental Health Liaison Senior Support Worker position, based in Swindon with the Oxford Health NHS Trust, involves providing vital support to children and adolescents experiencing mental health crises while they are in the acute setting of Great Western Hospital. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with CAMHS Mental Health Liaison Lead and practitioners, as well as multidisciplinary teams, to conduct mental health assessments, offer emotional support, and assist with care for young patients in the Emergency Department and pediatric ward. The role also includes training staff, working with special teams such as the Eating Disorders team and Learning Disability CAMHS, and preparing psychoeducational materials for families and healthcare providers.

The role supports flexible working patterns, covering hours from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 6 pm on weekends and holidays.
