The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is expanding its team of Midwifery Care Assistants and seeks applicants for the Band 2 Rotational Midwifery Care Assistant position. This role involves working in a supportive hospital environment, where you'll engage in a comprehensive orientation program and receive ongoing professional development from the Practice Development and Midwifery team. The position entails collaborating with registered midwives and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care within the maternity services, which includes various facilities and services catering to around 5,000 deliveries annually.

As a Rotational Midwifery Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include executing tasks directed by registered midwives, providing personalized nursing care, documenting patient care accurately, and reporting any patient concerns. The role emphasises maintaining the highest standards of care while embodying the hospital's values of People Focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity, and Excellence. Further training and support will be available to align with the Maternity Support Workers National Framework as the role evolves. Please note that this position does not meet UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa.
