The Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and ICU to join their team at the Cambridge Bio Medical Campus. Candidates should have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) in Anaesthesia, with significant experience in adult cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care, including expertise in heart and lung transplantation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Essential qualifications include training in echocardiography.

The role involves shared responsibilities for providing critical care and cardiothoracic anaesthesia, participation in on-call duties (up to 1:6), and involvement in the teaching, training, research, and quality improvement initiatives of the hospital.
