The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist in Medicine, ideal for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist ready to advance their career or an experienced Band 6 seeking a new opportunity. The role involves working in a dynamic Occupational Therapy Team within an acute hospital environment, addressing the complex needs of a diverse patient group. The therapist will engage in high-quality assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support innovative practices while ensuring a 7-day service is maintained.

Additionally, the Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for managing their own caseload, supervising junior staff, and educating therapy students. Opportunities for professional development, regular supervision, and involvement in quality improvement projects are offered. The position can be either full-time or part-time, and candidates should be willing to work flexibly within the team.
