The Operational Service Manager – Sexual Health Service at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Blyth is responsible for leading the Northumbria Sexual Health Service across Northumberland and North Tyneside. This role involves managing clinic-based care and digital services that support sexual health needs, including contraception, STI screening, and health promotion. The manager will collaborate with senior management to drive service development, oversee provision, and ensure the implementation of multi-agency sexual health plans, while adhering to governance and budgetary compliance.

In addition to operational management, the post holder will lead a team of highly specialist staff, ensuring effective risk management and policy development to achieve public health goals. Responsibilities include training and supervising staff, reporting on local and national performance targets, and maintaining high standards of service under clinical governance procedures. The role demands strong leadership, innovative management practices, and the ability to cultivate partnerships within the community to enhance sexual health services effectively.
