The role of Community Support Time & Recovery Worker with the South Oxon Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT) at Oxford Health NHS Trust entails providing recovery-focused interventions to individuals dealing with serious mental illness. This position requires a dedicated and patient-focused individual, ideally with prior experience in mental health support, to deliver emotional and practical assistance to service users in their homes and community settings. The Support Worker will work under the guidance of qualified clinicians, with access to regular supervision and training opportunities, while maintaining a commitment to excellent service user experience and collaboration with third sector partners.

The successful candidate will be based in Didcot, within a supportive and dynamic team environment that values patient care, staff satisfaction, and innovative approaches to mental health. A full driver's license and vehicle access for business purposes are essential, and the role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 9-5. Candidates should be prepared to undergo a probationary period, as well as meet training requirements and reference checks.
