The Interface Analyst Programmer at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting the Trust's Interface Engine and various clinical information systems. This position involves the full lifecycle management of application/interface development, requiring expertise in interface engine software and standards such as Rhapsody, HL7, ITK, FHIR, and SQL. The successful candidate will work remotely but may need to be on-site occasionally, and will be responsible for gathering user requirements, system analysis, design, programming, testing, and documentation.

In addition to technical development, the role includes project management responsibilities, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timelines, while facilitating communication with clinicians and trust staff to enhance clinical systems. The candidate will also assist in training junior team members and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of relevant tools and standards. Overall, this role demands a proactive approach to software development, problem-solving, and collaboration within the Systems Interfacing Team.
