The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Deputy General Manager in Acute and Frailty Medicine, based in London. This key position involves operational management within the QEH Medicine division, focusing on enhancing service delivery and patient care while ensuring financial sustainability. The ideal candidate should possess substantial healthcare experience, a proven record in operational delivery, financial management skills, and effective leadership capabilities. Responsibilities include leading service improvement initiatives, achieving performance and quality targets, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve patient pathways and the overall healthcare experience.

In this role, you will support the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for specialist medicine services, contribute to business case planning, and promote the Trust's objectives. You will also be integral in modernizing service delivery, managing quality improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with operational metrics and KPIs. By working closely with clinical teams and partner organisations, you will facilitate service integration and transformation, while acting as a deputy for the General Manager when needed, to drive the division's strategic goals.
