Do you want to join a friendly, growing, forward thinking Pharmacy team? If so, we have a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to become part of the pharmacy workforce at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a 2-year fixed termPre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship starting in February 2025.

You'll undertake a 2-year training programme of study towards qualifying as Registered Pharmacy Technician under the supervision and support of our established pharmacy team. Your apprenticeship will be a mixture of studying and experience within the workplace.
You'll be given study time during your programme, but you'll be expected to study in your own time as well. All apprenticeships have an end-point assessment conducted by an independent organisation to ensure compliance with national standards and frameworks.

This role will involve working with an assessor to develop a work-based portfolio, undertaking work-based assessments, completing all assignments/projects relating to the standards set out in the apprenticeship and presenting evidence portfolios for assessment within specified time frames.
On successful completion of the qualification, you will qualify as a Pharmacy Technician and be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), paving the way for a fulfilling and rewarding career in pharmacy.
You'll be required to participate in a rotational training programme including dispensary and stores services at CPSU in Kennington and Weston-On-The Green, as well as ward-based Medicines Management, therefore you'll need access to your own vehicle or the ability to travel freely between sites across the Trust.
You will need to demonstrate that you are patient focused, have good interpersonal and communication skills, are a quick learner and committed to the training programme. The ability to cope with the discipline of studying whilst working as part of a team throughout this busy department is essential.
You will undertake and complete the Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Level 3 with an accredited provider.
