The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking to fill two Band 3 Pathway Coordinator positions within the ENT Department, primarily to support the referrals team. Candidates are expected to provide high-quality administrative services, ensuring compliance with the Trust's standards, while actively managing clinic slot availability to maximize service efficiency. Responsibilities include understanding the 18-week RTT pathway policy, managing patient referrals, retrieving and preparing case notes, handling clinic cancellations, and maintaining effective communication with medical staff and patients.

The role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to managing clinic schedules, and adherence to local and national standards related to patient appointments and wait times. Coordinators will also participate in training team members, monitor data quality, and support clinical operations by ensuring that all necessary patient information, including test results, is readily available for clinic and theatre use. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism and teamwork in delivering essential patient services.
