Job description
The MMWF PCN are looking to appoint a newly qualified GP to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide GP services but also gain experience from differing practices. We are looking for a 6 session GP.
The role would consist of a placement at four Practices in Northampton, giving an opportunity to gain valuable experience across different practices.
Benefits would include becoming familiar with SystemOne as well as online consultation tools such as AccuRx, SystemOne.
We are looking for a GP with GMC registration and the following attributes;
- Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
- Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
- Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
- Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.

The successful candidate will actively engage in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives, utilizing MMMWF PCN innovative technology to optimize patient experiences and improve care outcomes.
Eligible applicants must be on NHS Englands medical practitioner list as outlined in section 91 of the NHS Act 2006, hold full registration with the GMC on the General Practitioner Register, and have completed their GP training (Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice) within the past two years. They should also demonstrate professional integrity with no suspensions or regulatory restrictions and agree to MMWF PCN employment terms within the PCN framework.
The position requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK, medical indemnity insurance, and an enhanced DBS check, along with a digital badge for secure system access.
