The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Specialist Microbiology Biomedical Scientist to take on the role of Senior Biomedical Scientist (Microbiology) Health and Safety Lead at Maidstone Hospital. This position requires expertise in CL3 regulations, with training for additional qualifications available. The successful candidate will oversee health and safety within the Microbiology Department, collaborate closely with the Head BMS and CL3 lead to ensure compliance with regulations, and be responsible for developing and maintaining COSHH and Risk Assessments, as well as conducting training sessions.

Additionally, the role involves regular laboratory work as a Senior Biomedical Scientist and participating in the bacteriology on-call rota. The post holder will play a key role in shaping the future of the department and will have dedicated time for health and safety responsibilities.
