The Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Worker to join their Oxfordshire Talking Therapies team, focusing on enhancing mental health support for underrepresented communities. In this non-clinical role, the worker will engage with hard-to-reach groups to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and facilitate access to mental health services. They will collaborate with community leaders and members to ensure that the services reflect the unique needs of diverse populations, especially disadvantaged ethnic minority communities and older adults.

Key responsibilities include identifying community representatives for service development, addressing barriers to service uptake, and creating culturally appropriate promotional materials. The role aims to empower community champions and mental health influencers while maintaining a database of community contacts and organisations.
