The Senior Clinician/Supervisor for the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) at NELFT in Chelmsford will oversee the management and supervision of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), who provide evidence-based interventions for children aged 4 to 18 experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges in educational settings. This role involves case management, developing treatment plans, liaising with schools, and delivering mental health services, including both individual and group interventions. The post holder will also contribute to service transformation, co-produce materials for schools, and monitor the effectiveness of psychological treatments while maintaining adherence to trust policies for clinical practice.

This position requires the candidate to travel across the region for supervision and training, while fostering a collaborative environment within a passionate, multidisciplinary team. The role emphasises a focus on early intervention and prevention of mental health issues, with support for continual professional development and a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Successful applicants must complete designated supervisor training funded by the MHST program.
