The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Activity Coordinator (Band 3) for a 12-month fixed-term position within their therapy team. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care to a diverse group of patients, including young adults with learning disabilities or autism, as well as older adults with dementia or delirium. The Activity Coordinator will create and implement a flexible program of therapeutic social and recreational activities aimed at promoting social interaction, supporting recovery from illness, and improving the overall experience for patients. They will adapt their approach to individual needs and interests while fostering a calm and supportive environment.

In addition to facilitating meaningful activities such as exercise, walks, and creative projects, the Activity Coordinator will also assist with administrative tasks and engage in regular supervision. The position requires compassion, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently, while remaining accessible to registered clinicians for guidance.
