CASELOAD MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS ROLE MODEL TUBERCULOSIS
The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Tuberculosis to join the Coventry & Warwickshire Community TB Service. This role involves working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality TB care, including managing a personal caseload of active and latent TB patients, conducting nurse-led clinics for contact tracing, BCG vaccinations, and new entrant screenings. The successful candidate will play a key role in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and control of TB, while also contributing to service development and ensuring compliance with data protection principles.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and a commitment to promoting diversity and best practices in patient care. They will be supported in their professional development through an in-house training program aimed at enhancing clinical competencies and knowledge. The position also involves providing education and mentorship to healthcare colleagues, engaging in research, and contributing to service evaluation to ensure that care delivery is responsive to patient needs. A valid UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes are essential.
