Band 6: £37,898 to £45,637 a year per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

This unit offers an excellent opportunity to gain a wealth of experience in acute surgical nursing of this complex group of patients.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to be part of an exciting new venture at the Surgical Hub at Llandough Hospital. This exciting new unit will provide an excellent facility for both day cases and overnight cases for short stay surgical patients, including but not limited to ENT, gynae, urology and general surgery. The Surgical Hub will consist of 26-day case trolleys and 11 short stay overnight beds across the upper and lower levels. The successful candidate will work within a team to deliver the highest standard of pre and post - operative care to patients across a number of specialities. You will need to be dedicated, proactive, hardworking, flexible and adaptable to care for patients across a broad spectrum of surgical specialities. The Surgical Hub will offer a fantastic opportunity to gain insight and exposure to a number of surgical procedures which will further increase your knowledge and skill set within surgery.

You will gain a broad range of surgical skills and will be welcomed into a supportive and friendly environment.
