Hawthorns Medical Centre in Birmingham is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join their collaborative and multi-disciplinary team for 3 to 4 days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of clinical duties, including chronic disease management (such as diabetes, COPD, asthma, and cardiovascular health), vaccinations and immunisations, cervical screenings, and wound care. The role will involve supporting healthcare assistants and ensuring high-quality patient care, while also participating in overarching practice functions like infection control and ongoing clinical audits.

The successful applicant will engage in annual appraisals, contribute to clinical meetings, and develop clinical protocols within the practice. Key responsibilities include administering injections and immunisations, advising on lifestyle changes, managing emergencies, and collaborating with safeguarding teams when necessary.
