The role of Security Team Leader CCTV at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust involves designing and facilitating training programs for Security, Car Parking, and Access Control staff, emphasizing the development of a proficient, confident workforce that adheres to organisational policies. A key responsibility is implementing the 'Positive Behavioural Support' (PBS) training for hospital teams, as well as creating specialized curricula to meet the diverse learning needs of new and existing staff. The position also requires assuming leadership in the absence of a Security Shift Team Leader, overseeing the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff while managing challenging situations involving potentially violent or disruptive individuals.

Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with training records and administrative tasks to uphold a secure environment, minimizing crime-related fears across the Trust. The Security Team Leader will monitor the performance of Security Officers and CCTV operators and make staffing adjustments as needed to address operational demands or cover absences, all while maintaining a professional standard aligned with the Trust's values. Regular travel across the main NUH sites is expected, alongside the flexibility to operate at different locations as required.
