The Advanced Occupational Therapist position at 455 North London NHS Foundation Trust offers an opportunity to join the Islington Learning Disabilities Partnership (ILDP), a well-resourced and integrated health and social care community team known for its collaborative approach and friendly atmosphere. The role involves managing a complex caseload of adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other additional needs, utilizing specialized assessments and treatment programs to enhance occupational performance. The successful candidate will engage in multidisciplinary work, contribute to learning disability and autism assessments, and be involved in service development initiatives.

In addition to direct client work, the role includes a focus on training and supporting staff within the network, ensuring effective engagement of individuals in their daily activities. The Advanced Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with a Band 6 OT and other health professionals to maintain and improve the Occupational Therapy pathway, while also participating in service management and development efforts. This position is integral to providing high-quality support to individuals with diverse and complex needs in a community setting.
