East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Conquest Hospital, located in St Leonards on Sea. The role focuses on delivering efficient, safe, and patient-centered care in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine (GIM), with a particular interest in candidates experienced in lung cancer, difficult asthma, COPD, and Bronchiectasis. The successful applicant will contribute to the new Lung Targeted Health Check program launching in April 2024 and will benefit from the department's recent renovations, which include specialized areas for Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) and various service developments such as respiratory virtual wards and lung cancer screening.

The department prides itself on being clinically led and prioritizes the development of clinical leaders. It offers excellent educational opportunities and has state-of-the-art facilities, including a Simulation Suite, flexible bronchoscopy, and advanced lung function testing across its acute sites.
