Mountain Healthcare Ltd is seeking a Forensic Medical Examiner for their location at The Willow Tree SARC in Wednesbury, with regional responsibilities across the Midlands. The role involves a combination of shadowing and training specifically in Paediatric SARC, which includes support in photo-documentation, report-writing, and education tailored to the individual’s experience. The position offers a competitive salary range of £48,090 - £80,830 pro rata, working 40 to 42 hours per week on a shift basis to cover 24/7 operations. Additional benefits include enhanced leave, maternity pay, a pension scheme, and funding for continued education after one year of service.

Candidates must have resided in the UK for the last three years due to police vetting requirements, and unfortunately, international visa support is not available. Mountain Healthcare has developed a frame work to develop key areas of knowledge and skills for those who may already have existing experience in SARC.

In this role, you will undergo shadowing/training in the Paediatric SARC and receive support in photo-documentation and report-writing for clinical cases seen.

We will identify an individualised programme of education and exposure to clinical environments, providing opportunities for examinations, in addition to financial support to further training whilst undertaking this post.

Additional Locations: Regional across Midlands
Salary: £48,090 - £80,830 pro rata FTE depending on experience.
Hours: 40 - 42 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 8 - 12 hours shifts rota basis covering 24/7, 365 days per year.
This is role will allow the clinician to be trained to MH standards to work in paediatric SARC's and provide up to date, evidence based clinical advice.
As part of the role, you will be working across the following clinical rotas for the Midlands.
Additionally taking part in research, audit, teaching and sitting FFLM exams will be encouraged.
Travel for training days will be a requirement of this role. Hotel and subsistence will be reimbursed in line with the Expenses Policy
Please Note that we can not support International Visas. Police vetting requires 3 years residence in the UK
