Band 6: £37,338 to £44,962 a year fixed term 12 months to cover maternity leave  FIXED TERM  GOOD SALARY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 Months Fixed Term post in the North and Mid Hampshire Community Integrated Respiratory Service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Nurse with a passion for respiratory care to join our award winning and friendly multi-disciplinary team. You will be able to develop your chronic respiratory disease management skills through supporting patients on a mixture of patient pathways, including delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation, assessing patients on and for oxygen therapy, as well as supporting patients with acute COPD exacerbations at home through our Supported Discharge and Admission Avoidance pathways.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate passion and experience in chronic respiratory condition management, will have undertaken an accredited post graduate qualification in respiratory care as well as have evidence of supervising staff. Experience in the management and treatment of patients with COPD, Bronchiectasis and Pulmonary Fibrosis is essential for the 12 month fixed term position as well as experience in the assessment and review of home oxygen therapy.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team supported by the Locality Team Lead and accountable to the Service Lead, providing high quality care to a range of respiratory patients. You will receive a comprehensive induction program and will be mentored and guided through both in-house and external training as required. There will be peer to peer support available from our friendly team members.
