The role of Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust in Southend-on-Sea involves providing senior medical support within multidisciplinary teams focused on the mental health needs of children and young people. The doctor will assess, manage, and deliver care to patients, while also offering guidance and supervision to the team. Responsibilities include liaising with families and other healthcare providers, collaborating with a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, and ensuring effective communication with local acute trusts. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to NELFT's values, possess a strong understanding of current developments in mental health care, and have significant experience in managing a range of mental disorders in children.

The position is part-time, comprising 8 Programmed Activities (6 DCC and 2 SPA), with a salary range of £59,175 to £95,400 per annum. Applicants must have full GMC registration, relevant training experience, and ideally, be Section 12 certified.
