King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Urologist with a special interest in Prostate cancer and Robotic Prostatectomy for a fixed-term position of 12 months. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, particularly in robotic prostatectomies conducted at Guy's Hospital. The consultant will also engage in general urology duties, clinical supervision, and the training of junior staff at King's College Hospital, with additional responsibilities in outpatient clinics and research activities.

The postholder will be expected to provide high-quality care, participate in 24/7 cover on a rota basis, contribute to clinical governance and audit programs, support business planning initiatives, and maintain professional development for themselves and their team. The position requires adherence to infection control policies, confidentiality protocols, and the commitment to the Trust's values and standards, including promoting staff well-being. The job plan includes 10 programmed activities, with on-call responsibilities classified as 1 in 10.
