The Ward Manager position at Fairlie Healthcare Group's Highfield House care home in Purley involves the overall management and coordination of nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care. The role includes overseeing nursing staff, managing patient admissions and discharges, implementing care plans, and creating a safe environment for patients and their families. Candidates should possess solid nursing management experience, particularly in critical care settings such as A&E, ITU, or complex care, with leadership experience of at least two years. While an RGN qualification is preferred, RMN or RNLD candidates with relevant experience may also be considered. Key competencies include excellent communication skills, experience in ventilator and tracheostomy care, and the ability to coordinate rotas effectively.
