The Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics at The Royal Oldham Care Organisation, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, will work alongside consultant paediatricians, specialty doctors, and trainees within a well-supported team environment. The role involves participating in a middle-grade rota, providing care in multiple settings, including the emergency department, paediatric observation and assessment unit, inpatient ward, and outpatient clinics. This position offers the opportunity to gain expertise in safeguarding under consultant supervision and is focused solely on paediatric care, distinct from neonatal work, which is handled by a separate unit.

The Royal Oldham Hospital features a single inpatient paediatric ward with a total of 24 beds, a dedicated observation and assessment unit, and a newly established paediatric area in the emergency department, recognized as a trauma unit.
