The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Midwife to join their dedicated team, which provides high-quality, patient-centered care to women and birthing individuals during pregnancy and beyond. The successful candidate will work primarily in community settings, performing home visits and assisting in children's centers, while occasionally running clinics in a hospital environment. They will be responsible for delivering evidence-based midwifery care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adhering to both local and national guidelines.

The role also includes being on-call as the second midwife at home births, ensuring that the individual practices within the established standards and takes accountability for their own midwifery practice.
