The Contracts and Development Manager position within the ICB is a crucial role responsible for the management, performance and development of the portfolio of out of hospital services across Bromley.
The post holder will support the Associate Director with contract creation, negotiation and management of the ICB's contract portfolio of commissioned services, having responsibility for developing effective, flexible, and innovative solutions for the management of contracts.
The role will require previous experience of the negotiation and performance management of services under the NHS Standard Contract, NHS Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Goods and the Provision of Services and use of commercial agreements where necessary. An understanding and awareness of the commissioning cycle, the Procurement Act (2023) and the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) would be beneficial, as well as knowledge of the contract terms and conditions and payment mechanisms.
The role involves collaborative working across the ICB and with Providers and Local Authorities. The postholder will also provide and receive complex, sensitive, and contentious financial and service information which they will need to share and present to a wide range of stakeholders.
