Practice Plus Group is seeking a Mental Health Nurse to join their team at HMP Rye Hill, a Category B prison in Rugby, accommodating 660 male inmates. This permanent position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Sunday. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with extensive support including a tailored induction, career development opportunities, and access to a learning management system.

As a Mental Health Nurse, responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, managing medication rounds, and providing non-judgmental care to individuals with mental health needs. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, monitor medication responses, and promote evidence-based care practices. Candidates must have legal rights to work in the UK, and employment offers are subject to additional vetting and security checks.
