The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and skilled Community Learning Disability Nurse to join the Learning Disability Team in Gloucester. This role involves working independently within a multi-disciplinary team to provide effective care for individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs, such as mental health issues and dementia. The successful candidate will manage a high-risk caseload, engage in complex health assessments, and collaborate with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for service users. Additionally, they will supervise and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to professional guidelines and Trust policies.

The ideal candidate is expected to be a resilient, motivated team player committed to enhancing service delivery and upholding the Trust's values. Flexible working arrangements may be considered, and the position emphasises professional development through regular appraisals and mandatory training.
