The Band 5 Clinical Research Nurse position at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust involves joining a team focused on respiratory research at the Royal Brompton Cardiorespiratory Clinical Research Facility. The candidate will manage a portfolio of studies, particularly in bronchiectasis and lung disease, which includes activities such as screening, recruiting, and consenting patients, scheduling clinical assessments, and ensuring accurate data collection and organisation of trial activities.

In this role, the nurse will collaborate extensively with both internal and external clinical and research personnel, necessitating strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic. Responsibilities encompass the entire research study lifecycle—from setup to execution and archiving—while achieving predefined patient recruitment targets across asthma and interstitial lung disease research.
