An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Involvement Lead (30hs - 0.8 FTE) to join the Policy, Involvement & Stakeholder Affairs Team, working in a friendly and supportive environment. We are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual who can work flexibly, independently, and prioritise tasks. Someone who can communicate effectively with a range of people and stakeholders, take a lead with involvement, engagement, and consultation activities and planning, and who is passionate about ensuring the voice of patients and communities are represented in the work that we do.

The successful candidate will have experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders, using different methods to engage, and a commitment to reaching and listening to the local community. This role will be based in Teesside but will provide engagement and involvement support across the North East and North Cumbria region. This will be a challenging and rewarding role in a supportive work environment.
To be the leading advocate and facilitator for ensuring that the voices and views of the public and communities, including hard to reach groups, are listened to and valued, and to be a key driver for projects that unlockcommunity potential and support asset transfer.
The post holder will be at the forefront of collaborative working and will be expected to develop a strong and effective working partnership with the local authority and hospital trust engagement and involvementleads/representatives.
The post holder will be required to nurture innovative ways of working and engaging and to be open and honest and able to offer informed responses when responding to patients and the public.
