The "Bank Complex Assessment Nurse" position with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stoke on Trent/Staffordshire is an engaging opportunity for a Band 6 NMC Registered Nurse to join the Integrated Complex Assessment Team. The role focuses on supporting the Discharge to Assess (D2A) bed-based services by assessing and tracking patients during their transfer to assessment beds, ensuring timely evaluations of their needs and funding requirements in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, service users, and their families.

The role operates primarily Monday through Friday, with hours generally from 8 am to 4 pm, allowing for some flexibility in managing one's own schedule. Nurses will work primarily from home but must travel across the D2A footprint in North and South Staffordshire. Candidates should possess strong organisational and communication skills, understand relevant health legislation, and be adept at working under pressure while maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities include attending multidisciplinary meetings, gathering information, completing assessments, and conducting checks on new patients.
