Trinity Medical Centre in South Shields is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join their team for 24 hours per week, enhancing the provision of high-quality, patient-focused care to their diverse population of approximately 6,500 patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties, including chronic disease management, immunisations (both routine and travel), cervical screening, and wound care. They will work alongside GPs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, while ensuring that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

In addition to delivering general nursing care and preventative health services, the Practice Nurse will be involved in running special clinics, advising and counseling patients, and undertaking various health assessments and treatments. Adherence to the NMC Code of Conduct and collaboration within the healthcare team are essential for fulfilling the role effectively. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing patient care independently, supporting the practice's commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and comprehensive primary healthcare for all patients.
