This is a Postgraduate Training Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Liverpool Dental Hospital & University Hospital Aintree.

The program includes observation and hands-on clinical treatment in a variety of settings with Professor Butterworth at both Aintree Hospital and the Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

This program provides mainly clinical experience and chair side teaching in maxillofacial prosthodontics. Candidates will be exposed to a very wide range of clinical situations and treatments within this clinical area.

The fellow will usually be based at the Liverpool University Dental Hospital for 6-7 sessions per week, with additional experience in the operating theatres and outpatient clinics in the Maxillofacial Surgery department at University Hospital Aintree as per the indicative timetable at Appendix 2. This would be subject to change depending on available sessions and experiential opportunities.
