Key responsibilities include managing patient appointments using PAS and SystmOne, maintaining accurate patient records, and offering administrative support within the Diabetes & Endocrinology team. The role is integral to the efficient operation of the clinic, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and care. Hours of work will be discussed during the interview.
First point of contact for the Diabetes & Endocrinology service at our busy out patient reception. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team made up of Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Specialist Dietitians and Specialist Podiatrists, Admin/Clerical, Psychology and Management staff.
Hours to be discussed at interview
First point of contact either by telephone or face to face for patients with regard to Diabetes, Endocrine and Diabetes Podiatry appointments.
The post holder will be required to provide reception cover for out of hours clinics approximately 2-3 times per month. This is normally until 7.00pm latest
Provision of patient appointments utilising PAS and SystmOne.
Data entry maintenance of patient records on PAS and SystmOne.
To work as part of the wider admin clerical team within Diabetes & Endocrinology to provide support and cover as and when required.
