Promoting and delivering exceptional patient care.

Accurate and timely documentation.
Ensuring patients skin integrity is maintained at all times.
Reducing the risk of patient falls on the ward.
Compliance in mandatory training.
To ensure the safety, privacy and dignity of patients at all times.
Act as a champion for an area of nursing, for example tissue viability, dementia, ANTT, and attend study days to feedback information to the ward staff.
Ensuring the ward is clean and maintained at all times.
Ensuring the equipment on the ward is well maintained.

Ward 6A Acute Cardiology

An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Ward 6A , acute cardiology, for four permanent Band 2 posts.
Ward 6A is a 28 bedded ward caring for patients with multiple health needs. It is a fast paced ward and predominantly nurses cardiology patients.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and hardworking. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. They should have a good work ethic and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual who delivers exceptional patient care. As a healthcare on Ward 6A you will be expected to ensure that all the basic needs of the patients are met. This includes washing, dressing, toileting, assisting with feeding and ensuring their comfort at all times. You will be expected to ensure the safety of the patients by repositioning and reducing the risk of falls on the ward. It is essential that you have a good bed side manner and have excellent communication skills so that you can communicate effectively with patients, relatives and other staff members.
