The role of Senior Health Care Assistant in the Dinas Female Ward at the Ablett Unit in Bodelwyddan involves providing day-to-day patient care under the supervision of registered nurses within a dynamic Mental Health & Learning Disability Division. This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as successful candidates will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to best practices and standards. Central to this journey will be the contribution of our Health Care Assistants and yours will be a key role in the organisation, complementing the expertise of other experienced nurses and will be part of a fast paced Mental Health & Learning Disability Division. With an integrated approach to health care you'll have the opportunity to work across different sites and you'll develop innovative and effective approaches to patient care and service delivery across a large geographical area.

To provide day to day care for patients under supervision of a registered nurse which adheres to best practice, standards and guidelines, and contributes towards the patients care and treatment.

With strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and patients. You should have the vision and ability to help move the service forward, while getting the best out of your colleagues and team, and will never compromise on quality, treating others with respect and dignity.
