The Human Factors Fellow position at Frimley Park Hospital, offered by Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, is a part-time role (0.6 WTE) within the Clinical Education Team, focused on enhancing Human Factors Education. The successful candidate will design and deliver a comprehensive education program centered on the System Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety (SEIPS), with an aim to enhance patient safety practices. Key responsibilities include conducting reviews of patient safety incidents, developing Human Factors training for various clinical areas, and establishing a network of Human Factors champions across eight key clinical directorates.

In addition to educational duties, the Fellow will engage in leadership activities, receive support for postgraduate studies, and be expected to build expertise in Human Factors principles while fostering a collaborative approach with clinical teams. The role includes ongoing assessments of training impact, participation in trust-wide safety meetings, and presenting findings at relevant conferences. Overall, this position offers an opportunity for professional growth in leadership and Human Factors knowledge, while contributing to the enhancement of patient safety and education within the Trust.
